About Me
MSc in Dentistry. I am a general practitioner, and I am training in implantology to widen what I can do for my patients.
I also studied applied psychology for a couple of years and did not finish it. I wanted to understand people, and the course was not going where I needed it to go, so I kept reading on my own instead. That reading is where most of what I teach comes from.
Dentistry is precise work and I take pride in delivering the best I am capable of. Bringing a tooth back to the shape it was is something I genuinely enjoy. Someone's health improves, and you do it face to face, one person at a time. This brings a lot of fulfilment to me. I love it.
I run Master Your Presence, a YouTube channel followed by around a quarter of a million people.
It started as a record of my own development. I was working things out and putting what I learned on camera, and having to explain it to someone else forced me to be honest about whether it actually worked.
That turned into body language breakdowns. I take a scene from film, television or real life and go through it moment by moment: the posture, the tonality, who is setting the frame, and why the same sentence lands as authority from one man and as an apology from another.
Then a series on the 48 Laws of Power, one law at a time. What each law actually costs, and what the version looks like that does not cost you your character. Knowing them means your chances of seeing it being used against you, increases. The better you know them, the less likely you'll reach for them yourself.
What it is now is broader than any of that. Being present, and being someone people enjoy talking to. Reading people accurately. Speaking in a way that makes others listen. Handling difficult conversations without being thrown off. Charisma is not a trait you either have or do not, it is a set of things people do, and almost all of it can be learned without pretending to be someone you are not.
The point of all of it is not to win exchanges. It is to be someone worth having around. Better company, harder to knock off balance, more use to the people who count on you. A better member of society, a better husband, a better brother, a better son.
I fall short of that regularly. I can get impatient, I get things wrong, and I am not always kind when it would cost me nothing to be. Striving for excellence is not optional in my world. It is the only thing I know of that keeps a life pointed in the right direction. Our time here is short. What we leave behind does not have to be.
